Trotters

Dudley does an email poetry exchange

 TROTTERS

with other poet and non-poet friends.

Every so often I will post a poem of mine on an email and send it to poet friends as well as to folks who are not poets. People who get the trotters are welcome to respond or not respond, retaliate with a poem of their own, or completely ignore the entry.  The term "trotters' comes from Dylan Thomas saying something about "trying out their little trotters "

TROTTERS

"...to make it plainer, more easily accessible -

pure, clean, simple: so anyone can understand."

from David Budbill's poem An Age of Academic Mandarins
